Safety of cosmetic procedures for children and teenagers under the age of eighteen years
The project addresses the increasing tendency of adolescents between the ages of 13 and 19 to undergo cosmetic procedures. Only necessary surgery should be performed, while giving realistic expectations for the results of the procedures because they depend a lot on physical appearance to gain confidence. Correct informed consent must be taken with an explanation of the benefits, limitations and risks involved. It involves teenagers should not undergo cosmetic or surgical procedures unless there are medical or psychological reasons. A successful aesthetic procedure for a mature teenager can have a positive effect, while surgery for an immature teenager can have a negative effect.
The family of Al-Hawash Private University congratulates the student and her family on her success and wishes her success in her professional life.
