This research aims to study the reality of academic advising at Al-Hawash Private University and then present a proposed model for an expert system to assist in this process at the university. The descriptive approach and analysis method were used to describe and analyze the research variables. The research came out with a number of recommendations, the most important of which is working to implement the proposed model for the system. The expert at Al-Hawash Private University, and then tested it, and studied its effectiveness and efficiency in developing the academic advising process services at Al-Hawash Private University, and holding specialized courses and workshops in expert systems to demonstrate their impact, working methods, and benefits, with the help of specialized academics and programmers, and conducting meetings and courses. And specialized workshops.
